In this week's episode, Tom sits down with his friend, Jeff Lamp. Jeff is a former NBA player and 1988 NBA Champion. He now works with the NBA Players Association in mentoring current and former NBA Players to find their passion off the court so they can thrive when they are no longer playing.

Jeff is an excellent example of the Breakthrough Code. He was cut from his 7th grade basketball team, which he said is pretty hard to do, and then only played in 2 games for his 8th grade basketball team. Then a coach for the high school he was going to attend saw him play and told him he better come out for the high school team. That coach’s belief in Jeff helped Jeff become and All American high school and college basketball player and then a first round draft choice in the NBA.
